Year 6 Celebrate the Canonisation of Saint Carlo Acutis
On September 7th, Year 6 marked a truly special moment—the canonisation of their class saint, Carlo Acutis. To celebrate, children came to school the next day in their party clothes and enjoyed a mini-feast, complete with games, and joyful conversation.
Throughout the week, they explored Carlo’s inspiring life: a young person who used his gifts in technology and faith to spread the message of the Eucharist and God's love to the world.
Carlo is a particularly fitting saint for our Year 6 pupils, who are stepping into their roles as leaders of the school—using their gifts, kindness, and love to support younger children and guide our school family. He also reminds us of our school vision, “Let all that you do be done in love,” as he lived a life full of compassion, devotion, and joy.
Carlo’s canonisation is a proud and faith-filled moment for our school, and we look forward to deepening our connection with his legacy throughout the year.
